The cornerstone for achieving optimal fitness and weight loss is the precise physiological training (workout program) based on each individual and their goals.

Every client is guided through their own path to optimal fitness and weight loss.

Many professional sports teams and professional runners, cyclists, climbers, and ultra endurance athletes call Colorado home because of the beautiful environment, the benefits of training at altitude and the concentration of high caliber resources in the field of training, physical fitness and achievement including the Olympic Training Center and the University of Colorado. All these factors make Colorado the ideal place to reach your potential and become as fit as you can be at our weight loss camp for adults.  KoruCenter takes full advantage of this, particularly with the emphasis we put on outdoor exercise.

KoruCenter’s weight loss “camp” for adults has capitalized on this environment of achievement and excellence and built a fitness staff with experience working with elite and recreational athletes, world renowned experts in the field of physical activity, weight loss, and nutrition.

Basic Scheduling

During weekdays at KoruCenter, you’ll spend around seven hours a day engaged in specific training to increase your endurance and strength, as well as increase weight loss instead of wasting your time doing the same boring, no results routine.

One on One

KoruCenter uses personal evaluations, goal setting and personalized training plans to help every individual reach their goals faster, safer and with more confidence!

Personal fitness assessments allow KoruCenter staff to design and administer the perfect fitness plan for you! For example, a member of KoruCenter who presents with the early stages of arthritis or has a history of joint pain may receive an activities schedule that emphasizes low-impact exercises like swimming. This degree of personalization simply wouldn’t be possible without personal, one-on-one instruction and consultation.

Motivation is one of the biggest components of any fitness program. KoruCenter staff are masters at getting the most out of every client. Instead of mustering up the motivation to get to the gym on a daily basis, the KoruCenter will be at your side from the start of your weight loss journey to the end, helping you get the most out of the first to the last workout and learning lifelong skills to stay in shape.

Group Classes*

Group training has its own benefits over personal training, chiefly the motivation one feels when working out with likeminded cohorts. The sense of collective accountability you feel to a group of peers significantly outweighs the accountability you feel to either yourself or your trainer. Some examples of our group training routines are outlined below:


Group fitness is a core focus of KoruCenter.CrossFit promotes total body fitness through high-intensity, varied exercises performed over the duration of around 30 minutes. The program combines aerobic training, weight training, and gymnastics to push the body to exertion and maximize overall physical capacity.

Group Cardio

A medium intensity warm-up routine of low-impact aerobics designed to get your blood flowing and prepare you for more strenuous exercises.

Boot Camp

Boot camp-style workouts burn serious calories and are based on three fundamentals of training: cardio; strength, and agility. These workouts require little more than your body weight to get results. KoruCenter has access to some of the most beautiful Boot Camp settings in the world, including Red Rocks, Washington Park, and City Park.

High Intensity Interval Training

High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) describes any workout that alternates between intense bursts of activity and fixed periods of less-intense activity or even complete rest. HIIT is extremely efficient and effective for developing aerobic fitness and burning calories. In fact, a study presented in 2011 at the American College of Sports Medicine Annual Meeting revealed that just two weeks of HIIT intervals can improve your aerobic capacity at the same rate as six to eight weeks of endurance training!

Cardio Kickboxing

Cardio kickboxing is a sport-specific, equipment-based exercise format developed to help promote the sport of kickboxing through kickboxing for fitness. The techniques used during the classes, using conventional heavy bags and training pads, are based on authentic kickboxing techniques, which provide both resistance training and cardiovascular benefits to its participants. These classes help participants gain cardiovascular fitness, coordination, timing, and strength.


Zumba is a dance fitness program the involves dance and aerobic elements. Zumba’s choreography incorporates hip-hop, soca, samba, salsa, merengue, mambo, martial arts, and some Bollywood and belly dance moves. Squats and lunges are also included. Zumba workouts are designed to be fun and exciting.


Colorado is the perfect place for hiking.Hiking is one of the best ways to enjoy Colorado and get a great workout in. Colorado has 42 state parks, 11 national parks and monuments, 13 national forests and grasslands and 54 14ers (peaks that rise more than 14,000 feet above sea level). There are many great hikes to enjoy in and around Denver.


Swimming is a good fitness choice for just about everyone, especially those who have physical limitations or who find other forms of exercise painful. Swimming improves fitness and range of motion and can relieve pain and stiffness.


Cycling is one of the best ways to enjoy the beautiful roads, bike paths, and parks in and around Denver. Cycling will improve your cardiovascular health and can be especially helpful for those with arthritis of the lower limbs who are unable to pursue sports that cause impact to the knees and other joints.

Supplemental Activities 


Developed at the turn of the 20th century, Pilates is designed to enhance core strength and mental concentration. Since the core is the central point from which the body derives its equilibrium, a strong core will improve nearly every functional movement your body is capable of.


Originally intended as a form of meditation that would allow its practitioners to attain a perfect state of peace, Yoga was recently adopted by Western culture and rapidly gained popularity as an ideal regimen to enhance flexibility and promote optimum blood flow throughout the body.

Other supplemental activities include spinning, jogging, tennis, basketball, track and field, boxing, snow-shoeing, cross-country and skiing. (Note: All supplemental activities are at an additional cost.)
