In order to physically commit to the concept of becoming fit, you first must identify and eliminate the underlying thought processes that have tripped you up in your attempts to lose weight. Weight loss and overall fitness both require a strenuous, long-term bodily commitment in the form of weight training, cardio, and a controlled diet.

Why is Behavior Change So Hard?

One problem is that we don’t often take the time to understand why we really desire change. We work with you to set goals that are simultaneously challenging and achievable, and we constantly re-evaluate your goals during your onsite visit.

What has driven your motivation to lose weight, and why has it fallen short until now? Once your mental roadblocks have been identified, you’ll be able to craft a manageable plan for self-improvement – one we’ll be there for every step of the way.


Each member of our team has their own personal story of weight loss struggle, frustration, and (eventually) victory. However, they also have formal education that adds to the value of their experiences. Our staffers hold degrees and certifications in kinesiology, life consulting, nutrition, sports medicine, and various other fields from nationally recognized universities and certification boards. We have experience with both the personal and professional sides of weight loss transformation and will use that knowledge to produce quick, lasting results.


Though KoruCenter’s staff is equipped with questions and a program that will promote an honest, open dialogue, you alone are ultimately responsible for the shape your behavioral modification will take. Only you can attain the level of self-awareness necessary to overcome barriers to your success. By making you responsible for the outcome of your time with us, we encourage a total personal transformation that will endure long after you leave. It is the old saying that we can open the door, but you will have to walk through.

To establish a system of continual support as you embark on your journey, our program offers a subscription-based alumni service designed to extend the reach of our program and encourage a lifelong commitment to your well-being.

Staff members will be available via e-mail and phone for clients who’ve left our program and need any form of advice or assistance. We will also provide updated workout and nutritional plans for those of you who need a sense of variety in your fitness routines.
